Cal’s Sunoco

Cal and Anne Potter opened their first automotive repair business in 1969, ‘Triangle 66’.  Offering gas, mechanical repairs and towing, what eventually became Cal’s Sunoco was just the beginning.  Throughout the 1970s, they operated service stations and a towing service.

On July 10th, 1975, Cal and Anne opened North Amherst Motors to officially expand into repairing damaged cars, and offering auto and truck rental, adapting to our community’s changing automotive needs.  Check out a brochure from the early 1980s!

Moving from our Montague Road address to the new, and current location on Sunderland Road allowed us to expand the services we could offer.

Our growth and success has come as a direct result of our strive to continuously improve, our passion for what we do, and our emphasis on customer care.

Today, second-generation owners Andrew and Jocelyn continue the family traditions offering a wonderful, full-service experience from start to finish.
