Our History

Decades of Growth & Service

1969

Cal Potter starts in the automotive industry, operating a full service gas station in Amherst

1975

Cal & Anne Potter establish North Amherst Motors, providing American and Foreign Auto Mechanical Repairs and High-Quality Auto Body Repairs.

Late 1970’s – early 1980’s

North Amherst Motors diversifies, including Towing, Tire Service and creating North Amherst Auto Rental: Cars,Vans & Moving Trucks.

Second Generation, Family-Run Business

Andrew Potter grew up in and around North Amherst Motors being mentored by his father, Cal and a Legendary Crew of Technicians. Today, Andrew & Jocelyn Potter continue the legacy established by Cal & Anne.
